At A Sense of Home, we believe that everyone deserves the dignity of a safe, fully furnished home. Our mission is to prevent homelessness by creating homes for displaced individuals and families, offering more than just furniture — we offer a fresh start.
Whether rebuilding after aging out of foster care or recovering from disaster, we provide essential home goods and furnishings through the power of community and volunteerism. Our work lays the foundation for healing, stability, and long-term success.
Our Programs
Creating Homes for Former Foster Youth
Too many young adults age out of the foster care system without the support needed to thrive. Our Welcome Home program transforms empty spaces into fully furnished, functional, and beautiful homes for former foster youth — all with the help of generous donors and volunteers
Disaster Relief for Victims of LA Fires
In the wake of devastating fires across Los Angeles, we launched an emergency response program to help families recover and rebuild. We provide furnishings, essentials, and comfort to those who have lost everything — giving them the support they need to start again
